WOW with AT
|
We are taking part in the challenge that encourages children to use sustainable modes of travel to school.
Each morning the children will record how they travelled to school. If they walked, scootered, cycled or used public transport they will earn their class a WOW!
The class with the most WOWs will win a trophy at assembly. If you live too far away to allow your child to walk, scooter or bike, then you can drop them on the corner of O'Halloran and Juliet or Angelo and Willoughby.
This will count as a walking WOW. Please encourage your children to take part by earning their class lots of WOWs! This will help decongest Willoughby Ave and keep our children safe.
- make sure students that are cycling or scootering wear a secure helmet.
- ensure an adult accompanies Junior school students.
- take home Junior school bikes and scooters before school starts.
- ensure your child walks once you reach the school gate
- ensure Senior school students walk their bike or scooter to the racks, which are behind room 7. The school is not responsible for any damage or loss.
